From 1999 to 2006, Winnipeg lawyer Ed Benjamin served with the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations in Kosovo. His task (and challenge) was to advance the peace and reconciliation process between Serbs and Albanians at the grassroots level in several large Kosovo municipalities.
